Sangmi Kim

I am Sangmi Kim, MSW, a Ph.D. candidate in Social Work at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. My scholarship bridges social work, computational methods, and data justice to address mental health disparities in at-risk communities.

With a multinational academic background spanning South Korea, Japan, and the United States, I bring a cross-cultural lens to research on suicidality, cyberbullying, and AI-informed intervention. I am committed to centering equity and justice in every stage of the research process.
